Finding Your Treasure: Money and Possessions in the Bible and in Our World

Using acclaimed scholar and preacher Walter Brueggemann’s new book Money and Possessions, this year we will explore what the Bible has to say about these key themes in both the Old and New Testaments and in our own lives today. What guidance do we receive from our Christian faith about the value of money and possessions? Join us for this challenging and eye-opening course as we delve into God’s Word on a fascinating topic, accompanied by one of today’s most accessible Christian teachers.

Meeting Jesus in the Gospel according to John

Have you ever wanted to read a whole book of the Bible, but didn’t know where or how to start? Following last year’s course, in which we explored encounters between Jesus and others in the New Testament, this year we invite you to drink deeply with us from God’s Word as we spend the coming year reading the Gospel according to John. We will begin with an orientation on how to start a practice of bible study, and we’ll continue through the Gospel of John.

Supplemental guides and study Bibles will be available for purchase at our first meeting. We look forward to embarking on this transformative journey with you!
