Saturday, December 7 at 5 PM
Sunday, December 8 at 10 AM
Don’t miss the chance to experience Christ Church Cranbrook annual Festival of Gifts. Our acolytes will participate in this traditional pageant, filling nativity roles and reading Bible passages to reenact the Christmas story complemented by live animals such as sheep and goats.
The Festival of Gifts gives families an opportunity to share their Christmas joy by bringing new and unwrapped gifts to the cradle of the Christ Child to be distributed to local human service agencies through our Outreach ministry. Some suggestions for gifts include warm clothing for all ages, toys, games, books for small children, hats, gloves or mittens, gifts for youth ages 13-18, toiletries, baby items including blankets, diapers, and bottle sets, and gifts of money to support these agencies. This is a good opportunity for families to shop together and talk about why we give to others.
You can enjoy the Festival of Gifts on Saturday, December 7 at the 5 PM service or Sunday, December 8 at the 10 AM service.
