Announcements for Week of February 6
7th and 8th grade youth (Rite 13) will meet Sunday at 9:00 – 9:45am in Youth Room (Level 1). Everyone is welcome. Please bring pictures from magazines, newspapers, junk mail and other advertisements or editorials that try to “sell” you something. We will cut these up for a project. Those being confirmed, work up to page 13 in your “I Will with God’s Help” journal (if you didn’t get yours we will give it to you this week).
9th through 12th grade youth (J2A – Journey to Adulthood) will meet Sunday at 11:30 – 12:15pm in Youth Room (Level 1). Lunch is provided. Everyone is welcome. We’re talking about the Gospel of Mark, the shortest Gospel, and the first of the four to be written. Challenge: Sit down and read it straight through from start to finish from your Bible, or online. It (surprisingly) doesn’t take that long. What surprised you? What challenged you? What is different about the Jesus in this book than what you’ve heard about before?
