		<description>Sounds like a great event and I hope to learn more about Mr. Rapson and his view on the role of the Kresge Foundation.  Is it to remain somewhat passive? Or become  more proactive? The Kauffman Foundation, for instance, in co-operation with WSU and TechTown, offers wannabe entrepreneurs some tools useful in launching and operating a small business.They seem to have gotten the outcome they wished for because several lifestyle businesses have emerged. Is this perhaps a result of a collective mindset of TechTown personnel focused on &#039;small&#039;?

Is it essential for people to stretch and expand their personal horizon to enable them to move forward? How can that be encouraged? Fine arts? Service organizations? Meaningfull access to guides and mentors?
