Through charming happenstance, the Episcopal Church calendar during Advent is chock-full of peculiarly intriguing saints. In each of the four weeks of Advent, the clergy are joined by Duke Divinity School’s Dr. Lauren Winner to look at four of our Advent saints, inquiring not only into their biographies but more pointedly asking what spiritual excellences they exemplify, and how our spiritual lives might be emboldened by inviting the Advent saints to keep company with us.
