Our Friday Night Live concert series returns! Presented by the Cranbrook Project, FNL highlights Detroit based musicians and artists, who perform for us free concerts right at Christ Church Cranbrook. Our first concert of the season features the Allen Dennard Quartet!

Allen Dennard is in incredibly talented trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and activist from Detroit, MI. His musical journey began at 9, when he joined the John Trix Elementary School band and discovered his lifelong passion for instrumental music, and as a teen was mentored by the legendary musician Marcus Belgrave! These pivotal experiences influenced his musical growth and deepened his passion for jazz. Today, Allen Dennardd continues to make waves in the jazz scene, founded the Allen Dennard Quartet, who recently wrapped their Detroit Jazz festival showcase and regularly perform across the Midwest. You don’t want to miss this amazing night!
