Our Friday Night Live concert series, presented by the Cranbrook Project, highlights Detroit based musicians and artists, who perform for us free concerts right at Christ Church Cranbrook. This next concert of our fall season features Ian Fink!

Ian Finkelstein, also known as Ian Fink, is a multifaceted artist whose talents span piano performance, music production, composition, and education. A Detroit native, Fink has been immersed in jazz from a young age, studying under esteemed figures including Marcus Belgrave, Geri Allen, and Rodney Whitaker. Beginning his professional career at the remarkable age of 14, as a member of the Detroit Civic Jazz Orchestra, Fink’s musical journey has seen him collaborate with a diverse array of artists, even dabbling in techno music and releasing work under his own solo label Freak Press (founded 2017). In 2024, he was honored by the City of Detroit with a Spirit of Detroit Award. His performance for us will be a night to remember!
