New! September Item of the Month – Halloween Costumes for Lighthouse!
Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2W13GBR4NRW58/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex
For the month of September, we’re partnering with Lighthouse Family Shelter MI to help provide Halloween costumes to kids in need this Fall! We are kindly asking for new or very gently used costumes, and appropriate costumes for all ages (baby-teen). Items can be purchased directly from our Amazon wishlist or dropped off in labelled areas in the Narthex throughout the month!
These costumes will go directly to Lighthouse’s annual “I-Scream” ice cream costume party on October 25th from 5 – 8 PM, where children can pick out costumes to wear for Halloween and celebrate the start of the holiday season. This party is also looking for volunteers to help out at the event! We will help set-up and decorate, run events like crafts or pumpkin decorating, serve ice cream, and assist families in selecting the perfect costumes for their kiddos. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread some ‘spooktacular’ joy to the children and families receiving care from Lighthouse! Sign-Up Here: www.ccc-info.org/icecream
