This August, we will be collecting new kitchen items to gift to the families currently housed at the Lighthouse Family Shelter in Pontiac. Then, in October, we will be bringing each family their own laundry basket filled with all the items needed to start a kitchen. These families stay at Lighthouse for up to 90 days and then move into their own apartment or home. We want to gift them everything they need to prepare a family meal at their new home! Think towels, pots & pans, dishes, and silverware, can openers, and bakeware.
