Join us for a two-part series on learning to identify mental health struggles in you and your family; what are the signs, how to cope, and where to find help.
It’s safe to say none of us has engaged in post-pandemic parenting before. Yet, as we shift into the recovery and readjustment phase of this global health crisis, we must rise to this very task and work to address the effects of the pandemic on our children. Join clinical psychologist, Dr. Julie Braciszewski, to learn how the pandemic has affected our children’s mental health, including their social, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning. Dr. Braciszewski will share parenting strategies to address these challenges and support mental well-being in the months and years to come.
In this webinar, three clinical psychologists – Dr. Steven Huprich (University or Detroit Mercy, Michigan State), Dr. Jordan Braciszewski (Wayne State), and Dr. Barry Dauphin (University of Detroit Mercy) will discuss the effect of the pandemic on individual lives and the challenges being faced upon re-entry. Clinical examples will be provided, as will some recent epidemiological data about psychological disorders and related conditions in the pandemic.
These are two very important, and timely offerings so please share and invite your co-workers, friends and family!
