Join us this Summer for our outstanding outdoor concert series, featuring guest musical artists coming to perform on our historic church carillon bells. This 96th annual, six-week Sunday concert series is a fun musical highlight of the week. Bring a picnic blanket, a few friends, refreshments, and secure a spot on our lawn to enjoy the beautiful music from these visiting artists.
Docent led church tours are available before the concert at 3 PM and tours of the carillon bell tower occur following the concert at 5 PM.
About the Artist, Joseph Min:
Winner of the 2024 Queen Fabiola Carillon Competition, Joseph Min currently lives in New York City and attends the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP). He is a member of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA) and has premiered multiple new compositions at GCNA congresses. Joseph now occasionally plays the carillon at the Riverside Church, as well as being a member of the Riverside Ringers handbell group. His work in acoustics and design will hopefully further both architecture and carillon culture.
