Serafina is a women’s quartet formed from our Choir, who offer sacred and secular musical concerts! In their newest project ‘In An Unknown Hand: Treble Music from Anonymous Manuscripts’, Serafina has painstakingly transposed, edited, and interpreted newly-rediscovered pieces likely not heard for centuries. Featuring early music hailing from Europe and Canada, the program sheds light on the work of uncredited convent composers and singers around the world! We invite you to be a part of history as we recreate how this music may have sounded three hundred years ago, and to learn more about our process of taking historical manuscript to performance.
