DESCRIPTION:A special service that provides you with a profound space to remember those who have died and be assured of the love of God\, transcending death. The choir presents the a cappella Requiem by 20th-century composer Herbert Howells\, a deeply personal piece that helped him through his own grief at the loss of his son. Be assured\, you will leave with a hope that is greater than the world can provide. The service also includes a reading of the names of those who have died and an opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one at a sculptural candle holder newly commissioned for the service. The words and candle lighting will care for you. The feast of bread and wine will nurture you.
