My family and I have been members of Christ Church Cranbrook since 1997, when my wife Kristen and I made the move away from our Roman Catholic upbringing towards the more open and welcoming Episcopal way of spiritual life. We live in Orchard Lake and have two daughters, Elyse who was married at Christ Church Cranbrook and has blessed our family with a grandson Oliver. Hailey is in her senior year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and looks forward to gainful employment this spring of 2020. Elyse and Hailey grew up as Acolytes and Hailey participated in the first two Dominican Republic mission trips. I have enjoyed the spiritual enriching experiences of leading the Usher Corps the past few years, being the Vestry liaison on the Finance Committee and a Member of the Church Renovation Special Committee. I can frequently be found in the church kitchen helping my wife who has help lead our Hospitality Committee over the past years. I recently retired from Ford Motor Company after 31.5 years, finishing up in a Product Development Chief Program Engineering role, leading some interesting vehicle programs. Along with increased time given to church work these days, I continue some automotive work in a consulting / auditor roles along with continuing the development of Kris and my Self Storage business.
