Dear Friends,
Many of us have experienced God’s love through the wonderful ministry of John Repulski, who served as Music Director and Organist at Christ Church Cranbrook from 2003 – 2014. His legacy of musical compositions and talented musicians still resonate in our worship today. I’m reaching out as his friend, member of the choir, and long-time member of the church to share that he is facing one of the most challenging times of his life.
As a talented church musician, John has been struggling with chronic pain and numerous surgeries, culminating in the loss of his job in Baltimore during the pandemic. In a desperate search for relief, he found himself battling addiction, a path that has led him to seek help at the Ashley Treatment Center in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
John has been granted a precious opportunity to participate in a specialized program focused on helping individuals like him manage chronic pain and overcome addiction. This program spans 35 days, during which he will receive intensive care and support. However, the financial burden associated with this treatment is significant, and John cannot shoulder it alone.
While we work to ensure John receives the treatment he desperately needs, we are also looking ahead to his recovery journey beyond the program. In addition to this program, our secondary goal is to provide him with resources to help him rebuild his life and regain his independence; both of which he is determined to achieve.
I feel honored and blessed to be on this journey with John and know that our collective support at Christ Church Cranbrook can make all the difference in his road to recovery. Every contribution will make a profound impact on his life and can be made here.
Thank you in advance for your prayers, generosity, and unwavering support.
