Sunday Nursery

During the COVID pandemic, we are not able to offer nursery care. However, children of ALL ages are welcome in worship.

To the parents of our young children, may we share…

Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel like you have to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome!

Encourage the child to see how others are sitting and try to do the same.

Sit toward the outside aisle, closer to the front – that way the children can see and have the flexibility to pop out for a break. If the kids would like to sit in the side seats – they are most welcome.

Quietly explain the parts of the service – showing the actions of others during various moments. Encourage the child to follow along in the bulletin.

Sing the hymns, pray, voice the responses. Children learn liturgical behavior by copying you.

If you must step out with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. As Jesus said: “Let the children come to me.”

Remember the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to Church, God and one another. Let them know that they are welcome at this house of Worship.

To the members of our church…

The presence of children is a gift to the Church and they are a reminder that our congregation is growing.

Please welcome our children and give them a smile, this encourages their parents too.
