Our Campus Redevelopment Plan
Our congregation came together a few years ago to identify the needs for our campus.
These identified needs were:
1) Expand out multi-purpose gathering space (The Hospitality Center)
2) Expand classroom space
3) Expand meeting space
4) Increase security
5) Make the church more accessible
Through your faithful generosity for our recent Capital Campaign, From Our Founding to Our Future, and God’s unfailing love, we have steadily made progress on our campus redevelopment project. Thanks to your help, we hope to have the exterior of our new administration building completed by the end of this Fall, and we look forward to a grand reopening on Founders Day, 2022.

Construction Progress To Date
Demolition of the second floor and the interior of the south structure was completed in May.
In June, after the building demolition, the construction crew started excavation for the area where the new east classroom wing will be built.
At the same time, the roof of the south structure, which housed the church offices, was removed. A temporary roof was installed in its place.
The next steps of the project that began in July involved laying the foundation and installing a steel frame for the new building.
Construction began on the Nave bathroom in the sanctuary this week!
The existing bathroom will be updated and a new bathroom will also be created using the closet space in this area.
Due to this construction, there will be no handicapped indoor bathrooms available during the services; however, event-style handicap-accessible restrooms will be available for use and conveniently located outside of the church as an alternative. You can also use the bathrooms located upstairs in the choir area or downstairs near Saint Dunstan’s.
Update on Church Programming
Currently, we can worship Saturday outside in front of the church and inside the sanctuary on Sunday. Children’s Moment and Conversations with Kellie both happen at church on Sundays as well. We’re excited for a full program year this fall.
We ask you to pray for the success of the campus improvement project. Despite the pandemic, we have stayed largely within our construction schedule. However, we continually need to place this project and our church in God’s hands, for only with God’s help will we be able to succeed.
Have you already pledged toward the Capital Campaign? If yes, please know that the fulfillment of your pledge reduces the cost of this project. If you fulfill your pledge on schedule and even ahead of time, we will borrow money later and pay less for our bridge financing, thereby lowering the cost of the project.
