Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate the birth of Christ! Services are in the church and available online at www.cccathome.org. Eucharist will be shared at all services on Christmas Eve. There is no childcare during Christmas Eve or Christmas Day services, children are invited to sit with their families in the church!

Christmas Eve String Quartet Service

A string quartet showers us with the good news that God has taken flesh and is born, a babe, the Son of Mary! Join us to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Christmas Eve Family Service

Dec. 24 | 4 PM

A beautiful worship service with our young choirs and a Christmas Pageant led by all the children in the congregation!  A fun and joyful worship with Holy Eucharist and Silent Night sung by candlelight.

Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols Service

Dec. 24 | 7 PM

In the church and online

A rich and beautiful traditional service of Christmas Lessons & Carols with Holy Eucharist. Hear the Christmas story interspersed with congregational carols and anthems sung by the Christ Church Choir with brass and timpani.  Prelude music begins at 6:30 PM.

Christmas Eve Orchestral Service

The Christ Church Choir and Orchestra offers selections from two masterworks: Bach’s Magnificat in the Prelude at 9:30 PM, and Mozart’s “Coronation” Mass during the service, alongside beloved Christmas carols and choral selections.

Celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas Day with us, at our service filled with beautiful music and worship! Featuring the celebrated Kris Johnson Quartet, a wonderful and joyful celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world.  Come and rejoice that God has entered into our world to bring peace, love, hope and joy.  Stay afterwards for a brunch open to all!

Merry Christmas! Our parish and neighboring communities are welcome to gather for a special brunch in the Spirit of Hope, Love, Joy and Peace on Christmas Day. Everyone of all ages are welcome! Your help in preparing and serving meals, or simply joining us for a festive celebration is much needed!

Labyrinth Walk for Peace

Dec. 4, 11, 18 | 7 PM | Atrium

Step into stillness this Advent with a guided labyrinth walk for peace. Discover this ancient practice that helps us create space for peaceful reflection away from our busy lives, while drawing us into God’s presence. Bring a guest. Invite a friend. All are welcome! Come anytime between 7pm at 9pm and give yourself approx. 20-30min. Docents and instructional materials are available to offer some instruction for anyone new to the labyrinth.

Experience Lectio Divina

Deepen your Advent journey in a new-old way this year with the ancient prayer practice of Lectio Divina. Each week, a passage from the birth narratives of the Gospels will lead us into contemplation of the mystery and wonder of the Incarnation. Come and learn the ancient practice of “Lectio Divina” and discover how this prayerful encounter with the Bible can gently reshape our inner landscape, awakening insight, healing, and transformation.

Adopt A Thriving Family for Christmas

Dec. 20 | 12 PM | Atrium & Church

The three Thriving Families in Pontiac we are sponsoring have jobs and kids and need some extra help during Christmas. We want to make this Christmas extra special for them. Shop from their wish list, wrap and label their gifts. They will receive them on December 21 at a party thrown for them! No time to shop and wrap? Donate funds and we will do the shopping for you!
