Experience one of Cranbrook’s summer traditions with the Young Adults! We’ll spend the afternoon at the 2026 Bon Festival, a celebration of Japanese culture featuring powerful taiko drumming, Bon Odori folk dancing, beautiful Japanese gardens, cultural exhibits, food trucks, and more.
The Bon Festival is rooted in the Japanese tradition of remembering and honoring ancestors, offering an opportunity to experience another culture’s rich customs while reflecting on the ways people across the world celebrate memory, community, and heritage.
