Choral Evensong will be offered this Sunday, February 5, at 5:00 PM in the church and through livestream. This service is part of the daily office and is intended to close the day with psalms, prayer, and reflection. The service will include a message from Father Bill, evening canticles by Charles Villiers Stanford, and William McKie’s We wait for thy loving kindness sung by the Christ Church Choir. Organ Voluntaries will include Leo Sowerby’s Air with Variations and Johann Sebastian Bach’s Toccata in D Minor “Dorian.”

This evensong, as with most at Christ Church, will be offered in the “extraordinary form” with bells, procession, and the burning of incense. A special reception to welcome Rob and congratulate Christopher as he leaves on sabbatical will take place after this Evensong service in the Atrium. Come and be part of this moment of contemplation and fellowship!
