Bring your faith to life!

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a 9-month course developed by an Episcopal Seminary intended for lay people who want to deepen their faith. It is ideal for anyone wanting to get to know the Scriptures better but also to reflect on their meaning and relevance in everyday life. Using a seminar format with trained facilitators, we examine our beliefs, culture, and Christian tradition and develop a practice of theological reflection.

Class meets Tuesday nights beginning September 26 and follows the academic year (ending mid-June) with breaks over Christmas and holidays.

What you can expect:

• Weekly reading/study/reflection assignments. Expect to spend 2-4 hours in study and preparation each week outside the seminar time.
• A small-group/seminar format where participants can share their insights and discoveries as well as discuss questions the study materials raise and learn from each other. Seminar groups meet weekly for 2 ½ hours additional to the personal preparation time.
• The cost is $325 per year
