One of the most meaningful experiences that many Christians have is sharing God’s gifts with others. We have been blessed with a dedicated group of Eucharistic Visitors who are trained and licensed to bring Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend worship in person for an extended period. We are hosting a training for those who are interested in discerning a call to this ministry. The training will be led by Laura MacNewman, who chairs this ministry, and Fr. Bill Carroll, who oversees our ministries of pastoral care. In addition to the practicalities of how to conduct the service, the training will emphasize role-playing, listening skills, and other training about being a helpful companion to others.
