For the month of June, we’re collecting items for families/children in partnership with CARE House of Oakland. Items include things such as: $5 gas cards, diapers, baby wipes, child care supplies, etc. CARE is a child advocacy center, providing resources, support, and services for vulnerable victims of abuse or neglect, for children within intervention service systems like CPS or through law enforcement. They have a vision to positively impact the safety and wellbeing of every child in Oakland County, and give them and their families resources to succeed and heal. Items can be purchased directly through the link to be handled by our Mission & Outreach team, or donated to marked areas in the narthex.
