Join us and clinical psychologists in the multipurpose center following the 10 AM Service for our Sunday Forum: Single and Thriving! In a society that constantly reinforces the expectation to be in romantic relationships, it can be hard to be single! By choice or by circumstance, most of us will at one point be experiencing the single life. In this workshop, Dr. Julie Braciszewski and Dr. Jessi Beatty want to examine how to shield ourselves from the pressure of dating culture, and reflect on the many paths of joy or personal fulfillment we can find in life outside of it. We will reflect on what it currently means to be a “thriving single” and our goal is helping us to better appreciate our relationship with ourselves, foster relationships beyond romantic connection, and ultimately build a life we love.
Dr. Julie E. Braciszewski, Ph.D., is a fully licensed Doctoral Level Clinical Psychologist and is the owner and director of Monarch Behavioral Health. Dr. Julie has specialized training in a broad array of research-supported treatments, and also has provided in-depth assessments of learning, attention, developmental, mood and emotional difficulties.
Dr. Jessi Beatty, Ph.D., LP, is a fully licensed Doctoral Level Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting clients of any age in identifying their core values and work towards setting up safe environments. Jessi appreciates incorporating humor and fun to enhance learning when it comes to new coping skills, developing insight, and problem solving. Prior to joining Monarch, Jessi held teaching appointments and worked as a Research Scientist at Wayne State University.
