At Christ Church Cranbrook, it is our holy privilege to accompany those whose loved ones have died. Our clergy offer pastoral care to those who mourn and meet with bereaved family and friends to plan a funeral or memorial service. Our organist and other musicians, as well as our flower guild and hospitality team, are committed to providing a meaningful and reverent service.
Christ Church Cranbrook hosts services for all, regardless of membership status. Our services are based upon the Burial Rites of the Book of Common Prayer. Within the structure of those rites, many options are offered, such as selections of Biblical readings and prayers. This allows the service to reflect the life of the person who has died as well as the memories of those who mourn.
