Nancy Torgerson has been a member of Christ Church Cranbrook since she was a baby. Her family was active in the church even before she was baptized here! She is a member of the Altar Guild, a Welcome Ambassador, and often volunteers for outreach activities, such as SOS activities and meal deliveries. Outside of her church life, Nancy earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Michigan in linguistics and speech and language pathology. She worked as a speech and language pathologist at Oakwood and St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals before opening a private practice over twenty years ago, where she still continues to work with children and adults with communication disorders. Nancy enjoys spending her free time with her family, including her niece Jackie, her nephew Ryan, two standard poodles Caley and Winnie, and her friends. She also loves listening to music, playing piano, traveling, and U of M sports.
