Roxanne comes to us in a very roundabout way! Born and raised in Rockford, IL, she fulfilled her vision of California Dreamin' by moving to Southern California within weeks of graduating from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, IL. She put her Radio & Television Communications degree to work in automotive for over a decade as an auto shows and promotions manager for Isuzu. After marrying her husband, Chris, and having two children, she paused her full-time career to volunteer in the schools as well as her little church-Saddleback, Lake Forest. On 10/10/10 her family moved to Michigan to begin their decade of destiny! Now in the second half of life with grown children and an unfilled purpose, Roxanne has joined us to bring her faith, dedication to building bridges and community, along with her communication and leadership skills to her roles as Program Manager of our Institute for Advanced Pastoral Studies and Missions and Outreach Coordinator. She is in awe of how God perfectly orchestrated her past experiences with her current passions to work here at Christ Church Cranbrook toward building the Beloved Community in SE Michigan (and God-willing, beyond).
