MARCIA WILKINSON
Class of 2026
Marcia has been a member of Christ Church Cranbrook for the past several years. Her husband, Steve, and she transferred to CCC from St. Paul’s Cathedral in Detroit. They are Southfield residents and have three adult sons and four delightful grandchildren. Marcia retired from Birmingham Public Schools after 26 years. Her most recent position (2005-2018) was as the Director of Community Relations. Before that, she served as a Community Education Coordinator and Community School Organizer. She has an undergraduate degree in English and a master’s degree in education (focus area of adult education). Through her work with the school district, she has had the honor of working with a variety of area organizations and served on multiple boards. Marcia is currently the vice president of the Next Board of Directors. Next is a local organization serving the 50+ community with a variety of activities and support services. She also serves on the board of the Race Relations and Diversity Alliance (formerly the Race Relations and Diversity Task Force). At CCC, Marcia serves on the Mission and Outreach committee and is the committee liaison for community service efforts between CCC and the Oakland County Sheriff's Department. She has also volunteered for several service opportunities, such as the Saturday Sandwich Ministry and COVID Vaccine Clinics.
