LINDA BAN

Linda is a life-long Episcopalian – she and her family joined Christ Church Cranbrook when they transferred from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor more than eight years ago. Linda has an extensive background in the automotive and industrial sectors, having spent more than 25 years in a variety of roles related to business strategy, information technology, and systems development. One of her favorite roles includes the leadership of a worldwide strategy group at IBM where she led the research at the global C-suite level. She has published over twenty studies exploring issues and challenges facing business and government and has lectured globally on these topics. Linda holds an Executive MBA from The Eli Broad School of Management at Michigan State University and a B.S. from the University of Detroit.
In addition to her professional work, Linda has worked in support of education. She is a current board member for World Quant University and past Vice-Chair of Finance for The Roeper School. At Christ Church Cranbrook, Linda is a regular lector for services, a member of the Women’s Spirituality Group, and an ex-officio member of the Vestry. Linda and her husband, John, enjoy spending their free time cooking, traveling, music, and the theatre.
