VICTORIA LAURENZI-JUMP
Class of 2028
Victoria was raised in the Catholic Church. She attended catechism in her early years, which gave her a strong foundation for her Christianity. Victoria lost her parents at pinnacle stages in her life; her mother at 13 and her father at 28. During these difficult times, she found strength in God. After attending the University of Michigan, she moved to Texas to begin a career in commercial real estate. Her career took Victoria from Texas, to Florida, to Georgia, and then back to Michigan, where she married her partner Kevin Jump. Several years later, Victoria decided to go back to college to major in Clinical Social Work. She attended Oakland University and Wayne State to complete her masters. She currently works at Greenfield Health System, a division of Henry Ford Health, as an educator for chronic kidney disease. While working and going to school, they fostered a young woman from Mongolia named Bysa, who had aged out of the foster care system. She and Victoria were both attending school at the same time, just at different universities. Their family of three felt they were missing something, and searched for a religious home to share. While Bysa married and chose her husband's religion, Victoria and Kevin found Christ Church Cranbrook shortly after! In her personal time, Victoria volunteers for the 4-H Equestrian program, is a part of a 22 year supper club, enjoys outdoor activities, and enjoys spending time with their grandchildren.
