Derek Collard grew up in the metro Detroit area. He attended Central Michigan University to study Outdoor Recreation before moving to Cambodia to be a missionary. He also got his Urban Ministry Diploma from Ecumenical Theological Seminary. Derek comes to us after 8 years of working in hospitality and customer service to serve Christ Church Cranbrook as our Welcome and Engagement Coordinator. If you see him around coffee hour say hi! Outside of work, he loves to find local coffee shops where he can read or watch reality TV on his couch at home.
