Message from the Rector: We are STILL Live-streaming Worship Services!

By the Rev. Dr. William J. Danaher, Jr., Rector

By now I hope all of you are following the Governor’s orders, so we can minimize the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most vulnerable. Many of you have read Bishop Bonnie Perry’s Pastoral Directive that all churches close EXCEPT for those with Rectories next door, which can still live-stream their services.

This means we can still livestream our worship services, which we will do at 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM on Sunday!!

The only difference will be that everything will be operated by me with the assistance of my family, in particular my wonderful and beautiful wife, Claire, who is a Lector, talented singer, and song writer.

We are so grateful that so many of you are continuing to be so engaged in our ministries and programs, which have now gone fully digital. I am profoundly grateful to all of you for helping Christ Church Cranbrook continue to be a church that gathers, embraces, and serves.

Please keep all those affected by this pandemic in your prayers — the sick and their loved ones, those who have died and those mourning their death, the many caregivers and first responders who are heroically continuing to serve others selflessly, and those who are suffering economic and financial hardship.

We will continue to look for ways we can continue to support each of these communities, and, along with our ministries, these are listed on our website and Facebook page.

In the meantime, count on my prayers for you all, and please pray for me and all the clergy, staff, and lay leaders at this wonderful parish.

With faith, hope, and love,

The Rev. Dr. William J. Danaher, Jr., Rector
