Samaritas is one of Michigan’s largest faith-based, nonprofit health and human services agencies and serves nearly 14,000 people statewide. Our agency helps children find loving families by utilizing family preservation, foster care and adoption programs and services. Through Samaritas, New Americans can access resettlement services for refugees and establish new homes. We offer transitional homes for the homeless, women existing the prison system and victims of human trafficking. Seniors seeking cost-effective, independent living options with memory care and rehab support, can also lean on Samaritas for assistance. We also offer affordable living residential communities offer clean, low-cost environments for seniors, families and people with development disabilities.
As a faith based organization, we look to our community churches around the state to uplift us in so many ways. Our Congregational Partner Award recipient is a true collaborator, brings ideas, volunteers and financial support to the table to help us continue to serve people as an expression of the love of Christ. Christ Church Cranbrook has truly embodied the meaning of this partnership . This award celebrates and recognizes your tireless efforts and tremendous support of Samaritas especially with our New Americans programs, as a recipient of your Festival of Gifts program, the many donation drive and financial support, just to name a few. About the Samaritas Summer Drive-In
On August 27 join us for a 50’s themed evening out with friends at The Samaritas Summer Drive-In at The USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth. Gates open at 8:00pm and you will be sock hoppin and’ and bee boppin’ with live entertainment featuring classic tunes from the 50’s, sippin’ on root beer floats and watching a movie under the stars all from the safety of your car. Don’t forget your poodle skirt or bomber jacket and show off your classic car that’s been tucked away. Cruise on down to the Drive-In for a unforgettable evening with Samaritas!
