What’s on Fiyah??

By Kisma Jordan, Program Manager of the Cranbrook Project

The Cranbrook Project is a 501(c)3 funded by a generous grant from the Erb Family Foundation. Its mission is to close the distance between our cities and suburbs as well as the many religious, artistic, and educational communities in Metropolitan Detroit. The Cranbrook Project and Christ Church Cranbrook support each other as we work toward community engagement and care for the wider community.

Kisma wrote about what you can expect at the Cranbrook Project’s upcoming event:

There is something to be said about the fiery nature of young people. The inaugural Youth On Fiyah concert will be a fantastic demonstration of empowered youth in the performing arts. The vigor of youth can joyfully overwhelm us and brings to mind the onset of life’s infinite potential. Even the Apostle Paul encouraged, “let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.” As the Cranbrook Project extends further into the community, we want to invest in the gift of youth, arts, and education.

This concert will catalyze our new programming announcement of a summer arts camp for 2023! The Cranbrook Project believes in the transformative power of self-expression through the arts, and our program encourages developing natural gifts to be skillful and confident. Our work will serve Oakland and Wayne county communities with unique engagement in the cities of Detroit and Pontiac.

The Youth On Fiyah concert is an event you don’t want to miss. Come, experience, and burn up!
