Sign-Up to Volunteer! www.ccc-info.org/Sanctum25
Come together for a day of fellowship and fun, as we join in on an interfaith gardening day for Sanctum House! This day of service is in collaboration with Temple Beth El; we will work alongside residents at Sanctum House to beautify their gardens and plant food for them to grow this Spring. Activities will include; grounds clean-up, mulching, planting a vegetable garden, and repotting. Help us to create a beautiful outdoor environment for these survivors, and support them on their journey to a new life.
There are two shift times available; a morning shift starting at 9 AM and an afternoon shift at 12 PM. You can sign-up for one, or consider serving the entire day by signing-up for both! After the first shift, we will break to have a shared picnic meal with the Sanctum House residents and volunteers. Whether you can join us for the full day, or even an hour or two, your presence and effort has a meaningful impact!
We ask that you bring/wear: gardening gloves, hats, sunscreen, gardening tools labeled with your name, wheelbarrows or garden carts if you have them, a refillable water bottle, and extra plants from your yard if you’re looking to part with some!
Children under 16 must have an adult present; the event address will be given a week out from the service day for those who sign-up, for security purposes.
