Lighthouse Ice Cream Costume Party

On Oct. 17th from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. join Fr. Bill to serve ice cream, help children select costumes from our September item of the month, and most importantly - share joy! Through the month of September we're collecting costumes for the children currently residing in the Lighthouse Emergency Family Shelter. In collaboration with Christopher Furlong, Director of Security at Cranbrook Educational Community (CEC), we are implementing an approach to campus safety that mirrors the system already in place at CEC. This collaboration allows both of our organizations to benefit from the synergy of shared best practices and coordination between our communities. Specifically, we will share a Standard Response Protocol system, which will establish common terminology and emergency response plans. The Christ Church Choir leads festive music to observe one of the greatest feast days of the church year. Choral music includes the grand Communion Service in F Major by 20th-century British composer Harold Darke, and two sublime anthems by contemporary composers: "There is a land of pure delight" by Grayston Ives, and "The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God" by Geraint Lewis.
