My name is Molly Diefendorf , and I am a senior at Christ Church Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School. During the end of senior year, students have the opportunity to participate in a three-week internship called “Senior May.” I chose Christ Church Cranbrook because I hope to make this loving community stronger while playing an important part in the church. For the past week, I have been working steadily alongside four wonderful people: Ms. Kellie, Ms. Tiffany, Ms. Suzy, and Pastor Manisha.
In all honesty, I was a little nervous starting my Senior May internship here, but I found that these four amazing individuals consistently supported and assisted me throughout this week. While working at Christ Church Cranbrook, I had the opportunity to help with a wide range of things. On May 11th, I assisted Ms. Tiffany with the Institute for Advanced Pastoral Studies (IAPS). I enjoyed putting effort into making other people feel at home. During Sunday School, every child brightened the room. Christ Church Cranbrook really does and always will hold a special place in my heart. The staff, people, and friends have created a beautiful, lifelong community.
